now in development (early stages);
is the replacement to this site. yes, i know we did this not too long ago.
this site is based on a dnn cms, it has kind of fallen out of favor with me for several reasons that i will not post here. but for the most part is has become cumbersome and costly with little participation from the community.
the new site will be more blog based and allow more functionality for the end user. not sure of the cost savings yet, but you never know.
the deployment may coencide with the release of cs:go, i will keep you all updated.

ya mon,
we are thinking similar. I have hopes for a large community, but the initial framework is key to the deployment. It is slow going as time permits. I will post more when things are worthy of talking about.

*UPDATE*
I have finally selected a backend CMS. after testing 5 different backend site managers i have selected one of them. I have begun development testing of the CMS with a working full featured forum. i have looked into possibly migrating this forum over, but unfortunatly it will not translate. The base code that this site here is working on is antequated and will not allow me much in the way of configurations, especially to this forum. the new site will be much more flexible.
more later

(sloooow progress due to my new job expectations and responsibilities)
